We held our second Meet & Greet at the lovely Peninsula Farm Café in Maylands on Saturday 5 September and this time the rain held off and the sun even popped out briefly.
The Meet & Greet was a great chance for people from around the Perth electorate to meet and chat about a range of issues – some of us were still chatting well beyond the hour. A common theme emerging from our many conversations is frustration over the divisiveness in public discourse at the moment and how we can bring kindness back into the discussion.
Our next Meet & Greet is scheduled for Saturday 3 October – venue to be decided.
